Volevo studiare italiano e volevo farlo a Venezia, così ho scoperto che Istituto Venezia è anche un'associazione culturale a Parigi. Questa era la mia prima volta a Venezia e ne sono stata immediatamente affascinata perché sembra di vivere fuori dal tempo…non c'è l'ombra di una macchina qui!Sono davvero soddisfatta del corso di italiano che ho frequentato e specialmente delle interessanti e divertenti lezioni di arte.
Vorrei davvero raccomandare questa scuola a chi è interessato a studiare la lingua italiana e spero di poter tornare a Venezia presto.

I wanted to study Italian and I wanted to do it in Venice, so I found out that The Venice Institute is also a cultural association in Paris. It was my first time in Venice and I had been fascinated immediately by this city in which I feel like I am living in a place out of time because there are no cars indeed! I really like the Italian course I am attending here at The Venice Institute, and specially the art course, which I find very funny and interesting.
I really recommend this school to anyone who wants to study Italian . I hope I will have the opportunity to return to Italy soon.

Mi sono divertita molto ad imparare l'italiano qui. Gli insegnanti sono competenti e pieni di voglia di fare; le lezioni sono equilibrate tra la grammatica e la comunicazione. Non mi sono annoiata nemmeno per un istante! Le attività del pomeriggio sono molto interessanti e mi hanno insegnato a amare Venezia, dando una dimensione diversa al mio soggiorno in Italia.

I really like learning Italian here. There are wonderful and enthusiastic teachers and the lessons are good-balanced between grammar and communication. I never get bored! The activities during the afternoon are very interesting and we learn to love Venice and our permanence here acquires a different dimension.

Gli insegnanti della scuola sono simpatico e molto divertenti e l'atmosfera è familiare. Ho imparato moltissimo nelle due settimane di soggiorno, credo che essere in classe con studenti di alter nazionalità sia una grande opportunità. Non ho solamente imparato la lingua ma ho anche vissuto la "dolce vita" di cui si parla tanto ed ho assaporato la cultura italiana. Vorrei poterci tornare.

Learning Italian at The Istituto Venezia has been very interesting! The teachers are always very nice and funny. The atmosphere is almost homely. I've really learnt a lot in these two weeks. I think that to stay in class with people from other countries is a very big opportunity. The activities in the afternoon have also been very amusing. I haven't only studied Italian but I've also learnt much else, I've lived the so called "dolce vita" and I've known the Italian culture. I would really come back again.

Credo che la sessione di agosto sia stata un'ottima introduzione alla lingua italiana. Gli insegnanti sono stati disponibili e hanno reso l'apprendimento un divertimento. Un po' frustrante all'inizio, l'approccio diretto alla lingua si è rivelato uno strumento essenziale per incoraggiarmi a parlare e a pensare in italiano. Quest'esperienza mi ha donato moltissimo.

Devo dire che ho imparato molto di più di quanto mi aspettassi e le mie competenze orali e scritte mi hanno resa più sicura nell'affrontare le situazioni di ogni giorno. L'immersione totale nella lingua si è rivelata davvero efficace e a reso quest'esperienza indimenticabile.

In un mese di studio sono riuscito ad imparare molto della lingua italiana. Gli insegnanti sono stati molto pazienti e non si sono mai stancati di rispondere alle nostre domande. Un vero successo!

I thought the August session was an excellent introduction to Italian. The instructors were helpful and made the class and the learning experience fun. While frustrating at first, I thought that "Italian only" approach was excellent in providing the enviroment one needs to successfully learn the language and further encourages one to speak and think in Italian. I enjoyed the experience immensely.

I can honestly say I learned a lot more than I expected and that my oral and written skills have left me confident in doing everyday activities. The teachers were always willing to answer our questions and were of curse a lot of fun. Total immersion into the language was at first a struggle but it definetely paid off in the end and the discussions we hade in class were very helpful for practising Italian.

The 1 month of Italian was very effective. I was able to pick up the language relatively quickly. The teachers answered any questions I had throughly until they were sure we understood the subject . I found learning Italian to be a fun and rewarding experience.It was overall a success in my opinion.

Gli insegnanti hanno trovato il giusto equilibrio tra lezioni grammaticali e comunicative. Tutto lo staff mi è stato molto d'aiuto e molto disponibile. Ripeterei volentieri l'esperienza.

The teachers at Istituto Venezia are able to focus on grammar as well as on speaking abilities. All the staff is very concerned about the students friendly and helpful. I've always felt at home at school and I learnt a lot.
