First
name: Jim
Year of birth: 1959
I was born in North London and later studied at London University,
taking a first degree in the Ancient World and then a D.Phil
at the Institute of Archaeology specialising in Iron Age
central Italy. I have lived in Italy since 1984, first in
Rome and then Tuscany, save a brief period as guest lecturer
in Art History at the University of Western Australia.
Since the early 1990's I have principally worked as a language
consultant for private companies, publishers and the government,
whilst trying not let my research interests in history slip
away.
