I studied in Pisa, where in 1994 I took my degree in Philosophy and in 2005 in History. From 1992 to 2000 I lived continuously in Germany where I worked as a language assistant of Italian at the University of Bielefeld and as teacher of Italian in some private schools in Mannheim and Berlin. In 1996 I took the Großes Sprachdiplom at the Goethe Insitut in Hannover. Since 2002, I have been running Puntolingua and since 2004 I live in Piombino and Berlin.

I was born in Switzerland, in Basel. I studied Latin and History in Basel and Munich. I took my degree in 1991, I got married and I moved to Turin, where I participated in a research program in CNR on Ciceron, worked with publishing companies, taught Latin and German and have worked as a translator, while attending University of Turin in Classical Philology. Since 2001, I decided to dedicate my full time as a freelance translator as a native German speaker specializing in Architecture, Tourism and Marketing.
